Concrete Floor for Outdoor Rink
The Village of Kenosee Lake is excited to officially announce that we were approved for Government of Canada funding through PrairiesCan under the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) program for the completion of a concrete floor to the Outdoor Rink. The CCRF has invested $166,851 towards the concrete floor project.
“Canadians across the Prairies are once again gathering in their local recreation centres,” said the Honourable Daniel Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan. “Our government is making investments in communities like the Village of Kenosee Lake that help to attract visitors from the surrounding area and support the local economy.”
The concrete floor will be completed this fall and will provide a better ice surface as well as many summer activities like, pickleball, basketball, street hockey and more.
The upgrades are a welcome addition to our facility and will be enjoyed by people of all ages for years to come.
